In a nutshell
Eureciclo coded Latam’s first recycling credits exchange and is currently operating as a PRO (”Packaging Recovery Organization”) in Brazil and Chile — plus a sandbox project in France. The biz model is based on a two-sided marketplace where recyclers upload proof of work, generating a recycling credit acquired by consumer goods companies, ensuring their compliance with environmental legislation.

Positive Notes
Impact is not built alone. Eureciclo operates as a platform connecting brands, the recycling chain, and society—turning packaging into an invitation for transparency and shared responsibility. In 2025, the company expanded its offering to include PCR (post-consumer recycled) certification, as well as the supply of PCR resin and packaging, deepening its role across the circular value chain.
During the year, eureciclo offset 483,000 metric tons of packaging, avoiding 881,000 metric tons of CO₂ emissions. Beyond volume, the focus remained on quality and inclusion: the company supported 321 sorting centers—including 102 waste picker organizations—and allocated R$30 million directly to the recycling chain, increasing the average transfer per center by 38%. It also doubled the average compensated recovery volume, structured new collection streams (glass, polypropylene, and carton packaging), and ensured full traceability through independently audited systems.
The challenge ahead remains systemic: increasing recycling rates in a market where regulatory targets are still modest and infrastructure gaps persist. By strengthening the base of the recycling chain—through formalization, capacity building, and partnerships such as the professionalization program with SEBRAE—eureciclo continues to build the foundation for a more resilient and inclusive circular economy.
